I 5/15/2012 8:22:24 PM The Aimpoint T-1 is the way to go. Price was my only stumbling block, but after coming to the conclusion that I couldn’t do better I went and spent the cash. I got mine from Cal Sporting Armory for $525.00. I see it on Botach tactical for the same often. It’s the 4moa dot, I would rec. the newer 2moa dot for less target obscurement at distance. Expect to pay a lil more for the 2moa dot. Then again the 4moa will be cheaper and I have not had any issues with it. It’s on my patrol rifle so I don’t expect to be engaging anything past 50-75 yards, and the last time I looked a 4moa dot was fine on man sized targets out to 200+ yards The selling point for me is the battery life of the Aimpoints. After constantly going to a dead EoTech on duty I gave up. The EoTech is now on my fun guns and the Aimpoints on the work guns. scottrh2

1/23/2010 10:55:30 PM I have been using a Raven Holster with my G21 w/ Surefire X300 for about three months. I’m hard on my gear and use this as my primary rig during entry/ take downs. 1/23/2010 6:39:08 PM The rail lock is a configuration you can put on the Surefire X300 that essentially locks it onto the weapon semi-permanently. You need tools to take it off vice the standard rail setup that allows you to remove the light just by depressing tabs on either side of the light. Just about everyone I know forgoes the rail lock in favor of the standard setup. It makes a difference in the RCS order because the holster mold is different for the different options. The Surefire X300 is definitely a superior option to the M3. Retic
