3/24/2012 11:24:04 AM Just some facts from the one I have had for 10 years. Works fine, but like most said, on a 9mm not much gained. It will play with you a little when you go back and forth from other Glock Accessories 9s You can easily turn it on and off by getting another Glock Accessories 19 barrel. It will soot the front sight with almost any ammo in 200 rounds (Take 5 secs and one finger to fix) It will make your teeth hurt at an indoor range I have shot night matches with night glcok sights on my 19C, never lost the front sight picture or got blinded. 1 in 10 ammo brands will look like a dragon, the rest you’ll never see. So, my final answer, I would not avoid it but I would never have one without an extra non ported barrel. offshorebear

2/9/2012 11:45:25 AM Just go to industry at the top of your page and find azarmament… there should be a stick up top of their forum for a discount coupon. I just told Shelly I was a member here and she automatically applied the discount. If you are referring to azarmament that is…. After waiting for a week to arrive, I’m all gitty to try out the dot. Turn on,nothing! Anybody else have this? I really did not expect this on a high dollar rugged optic. I even ran to Wallyworld to try to find a battery in case the original had an issue. Doesn’t look like this battery will be easy to find. Needless to say, I’m bummed. FarmGunM1

I’m saying that is the way it is done in the military.
Match and specialized sniper/long range ammunition is far from underloaded.

There are specialized gas plug screws made fro the M14 Scope Mounts type rifle that allow a wide variety of ammunition to be utilized so there is no drawback to choosing one over an AR10 type platform for civilian use and again, a properly manufactured and heat treated modern M14 Scope Mounts type receiver is no less reliable than a modern manufactured AR10 two piece receiver system.
